Six days in Jakarta

Inacraft 2026 was the first time we brought the Neshvari Wastra collection to a stage this large. We arrived with a suitcase of cloth, a notebook, and a healthy dose of nerves.

The response was beyond what we expected. Many visitors stopped, touched the cloth, and asked about the origins of the motifs. We spent more time telling stories than selling—and that is precisely what made the sales come.

Buyers from beyond Indonesia

What moved us most was the interest from international visitors. They did not always know the names of the motifs, but they could feel the quality. Some ordered for themselves; some for small boutiques in their countries.

We learned that story is the bridge. When we explained that one length takes weeks, the price made sense. When we showed the weaver's hands, the cloth changed from product to work.

Wastra does not need to become something else to be accepted. It only needs to be told honestly.

What we brought home

Beyond orders, we came home with the conviction that wastra has a place in the global market—not as a souvenir, but as fashion equal to any premium cloth.

This website is a continuation of that conversation. We want anyone, anywhere, to find the right cloth and understand why it deserves to be passed on.
